Orthodontic Treatments & Options

Types of Treatment

Invisalign

Invisalign uses clear, custom-made aligners to shift teeth into proper alignment without the need for metal brackets or wires. Ideal for patients who prefer a discreet, removable option.

Metal & Ceramic Braces

Traditional braces, usually made of ceramic or metal, push your teeth into position using wires and brackets. Metal braces and ceramic braces are particularly effective for correcting more complex bite and alignment issues.

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners (or clear braces) are a transparent, custom orthodontic treatment. Our team of orthodontists use advanced digital treatment planning technology to safely and predictably straighten teeth.

Lingual Braces

Lingual braces use metal brackets and wires placed on the back (lingual) side of the teeth, making them virtually invisible. A much subtler alternative to traditional braces.

Functional Appliances

Functional appliances assist in the development of your jaw and teeth over time by gently guiding the jaw into a better position, improving bite and alignment.

Expansion Appliances

Orthodontic expansion devices are used to widen the upper jaw, creating more space for alignment. Early jaw expansion helps improve breathing, support healthy facial development, and reduces the need for complex treatment later in life.

Retention Appliances

Retention appliances help maintain tooth position after orthodontic treatment is complete. These can be fixed or removable.

Space Maintainers

Space maintainers hold space for permanent teeth when primary (baby) teeth are lost prematurely. This helps patients with correct tooth eruption and prevents crowding or misalignment during their growth period.

Tooth Extraction

Tooth extraction is sometimes recommended as part of treatment to help create space and achieve optimal teeth alignment. Your orthodontist will assess whether tooth extraction is necessary.
